We took a trip up to the snow on December 31st, 2004.  Not sure where we were headed, and wanting to avoid the freeways at all costs, we ended up heading to an area I am very familiar with: Sly Creek Reservoir.  My family, friends and I often hunt up past the campground in the fall.

Not having been up there in the winter in many years, it seemed like a good place to go play.  I also have a geocache hid up near the dam and wanted to see how it was doing with all the snow.

The area was covered in snow as you can see from the pictures. It was clear and not snowing when we arrived, but that soon changed.  When we left, it was near white-out conditions.  We had a great time playing in the snow.  You can see the entire picture collection by visiting my webshots site HERE.
